This triptych shows the Blessed Virgin holding the Holy Infant Jesus at the time of the Nativity.
The stone manger in the background prophecies of the reason for which Christ came! Jesus is born to die for the sins of the world. He will be crucified for us and His body placed in a stone tomb. On the left panel, the angels look on as Joseph contemplates the mystery. On the right panel, the infant Jesus is being washed by maidens as more angels peer into the wonder of the Nativity.
